From the Backlog, Fourth of July Edition: David Cook at Union Transfer (March 2016)

Who: David Cook
What:
Digital Vein Tour
When: March 2016
Where:
Union Transfer – Philadelphia, PA

Happy Fourth of July, just under the wire! Since it’s the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, I thought I’d un-backlog a photoset from the city where it was adopted 240 years ago today: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Show Notes
Most of my photo backlog consists of shows from David Cook‘s Digital Vein Tour, in support of his newest album, Digital Vein (iTunes / Spotify / PledgeMusic). They’ll cover late 2015 to early 2016–this one is from this past March.

I go to Philly for shows fairly frequently since it’s only a short train ride away, but this was my first at Union Transfer, an interesting old building that has been around since 1889 in various incarnations. They really cranked up the fog machines, which proved kind of tricky as the fog tends to interact with the stage lighting and make focusing the camera a bit more difficult. I think it provided some moody shadows and interesting backdrops here though!

As usual, please do not re-upload or edit the photos, but feel free to share using the links on this site–thank you for your cooperation! 🙂
